This study conducts a comprehensive bibliometric analysis of global research trends on the health impact of air pollution, with a specific focus on co-authorship networks. Utilizing data from PubMed, 5,548 articles published between 2014 and 2024 were analyzed to identify key authors, institutions, and countries contributing to this critical field. VOSviewer was employed to visualize co-occurrence patterns and collaboration networks. The findings reveal a significant increase in publications over the years, highlighting the growing research interest in air pollution's health effects. Key research clusters identified include studies on particulate matter, mortality, and exposure assessment. The analysis also uncovers robust international collaborations, with leading contributions from countries such as the United States, China, and the United Kingdom. The study's results underscore the importance of interdisciplinary and cross-border collaborations in advancing the understanding of air pollution's health impacts. By mapping the research landscape and identifying influential contributors and collaborative networks, this study provides valuable insights for researchers and policymakers. It highlights the need for continued global efforts to address air pollution challenges and suggests directions for future research to enhance public health interventions and policy-making.
